The Bandra Family Court has granted a divorce to industrialist Jaidev Shroff and his estranged wife Poonam Bhagat, concluding an 11-year legal dispute. The court ordered Shroff to pay Bhagat Rs 10 crore in permanent alimony. Several of Bhagat's other claims, including Rs 1,000 crore in alimony, property transfers, and return of streedhan and jewelry, were dismissed by the court for lack of substantiation.
