Delhi's air quality remained in the 'poor' category on Tuesday, with the average Air Quality Index (AQI) at 293, according to the Central Pollution Control Board. Several areas, including Chandni Chowk and Anand Vihar, recorded 'very poor' levels. Dense fog also blanketed the region, reducing visibility and leading to flight disruptions under CAT III conditions. The air quality is expected to stay in the poor to very poor range for the next six days, influenced by lingering smog, low wind speeds, and cold winter conditions.
