A Kerala nun, who accused Bishop Franco Mulakkal of rape in 2018, has ended eight years of silence vowing to pursue justice through the high court and Supreme Court. She and three supporting nuns were moved to a convent and worked as tailors, facing poverty. The nun stated her decision to speak out was prompted by actor Dileep's acquittal in a separate case, despite her own accuser being acquitted in January 2022.
