The Tirupati district administration has included Ubbalamadugu waterfalls in the Pulicat tourist circuit to boost visitor numbers, especially ahead of the 'Flamingo Festival 2026' at Pulicat Bird Sanctuary. Preparations include making Nelapattu Bird Sanctuary and other local attractions tourist-ready. Officials anticipate a higher turnout than last year's 3-4 lakh visitors and are implementing measures to protect migratory birds and support local livelihoods. A biodiversity workshop is also planned as part of the festival's activities.
