Eminent Manipuri dancer Rinku Bhattacharya Das has returned to Manipur to distribute aid raised in the United States for internally displaced persons (IDPs) affected by the ethnic conflict. Das was inspired to raise funds after witnessing the suffering of displaced families during a visit in July 2025. She created a dance production performed in the US, which garnered support and donations for the IDPs. The aid is now being distributed among those in relief camps across Manipur.
