Bengaluru has been ranked the best city for women in India for 2025 by the Avtar Group's Top Cities for Women in India report. The study assessed 125 cities on social and industrial inclusion, with Bengaluru leading due to its strong corporate ecosystem and career opportunities. Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad, and Mumbai followed in the top five. While Bengaluru excels in industrial inclusion, Chennai leads in social infrastructure, safety, and public services. Gurugram showed significant improvement, rising to sixth place.
