
Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS) in Tirupati provided free treatment worth ₹18 lakh to a 35-year-old underprivileged patient, K. Harinadh, under the Sri Venkateswara Pranadana Scheme. Harinadh, from a poor labourer family, underwent multiple successful surgeries and antifungal treatments for a severe brain infection involving mucormycosis and aspergillosis. His family expressed gratitude, stating they could not afford the treatment elsewhere, where initial costs were prohibitive.
