
A new Indian study highlights that male factors significantly contribute to couple infertility, often remaining unexplained by standard medical tests. Researchers analyzed 247 Indian men with severe sperm issues using advanced genetic technology, finding that common tests detect causes in only a small fraction. This study, a collaboration between FRIGE Institute and ICMR, is the largest of its kind in India and suggests genetic factors are a major, often hidden, cause of male infertility.
