
A new dialysis center was inaugurated at the R.S. Puram Urban Primary Health Centre in Coimbatore, aiming to provide affordable treatment for economically weaker sections. Established through a collaboration between the Coimbatore Corporation, Rotary Coimbatore Ikons, and TANKER Foundation at a cost of ₹2.5 crore, the facility features 10 dialysis beds. It will offer sessions for ₹375, with free services for those with government health insurance. The center is set to begin operations after January 19, accommodating up to 20 patients daily.
