An Indian student, Mili Mohan, 25, was killed and two others, Ashika Sheejamini Santhosh and Jaseena B, were injured in a road accident in Oskemen, Kazakhstan. The group of 11 medical students from Semey Medical University were returning from an excursion trip to the Altai Mountains. The injured students are receiving stable medical treatment. The Indian Embassy in Kazakhstan has expressed condolences, is coordinating with university and hospital authorities, and is assisting the families, including arrangements for repatriation of the deceased.
