
Telangana Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar announced plans to introduce Braille textbooks for Intermediate and Degree courses, addressing a gap in educational resources for visually impaired students. Currently, Braille materials are only available up to Class X. The Minister also unveiled the state's first Braille New Year calendar and pledged to distribute free assistive devices to 8,000 beneficiaries. A proposal for free bus travel for persons with disabilities is also being considered.
