The Indian High Commission in Singapore hosted a Pongal celebration for approximately 1,500 Indian migrant workers, including those in construction, marine industries, and domestic roles. The event featured cultural performances, live music, yoga, and a fashion showcase, with over 110 volunteers and local artists participating. High Commissioner Dr. Shilpak Ambule attended, discussing consular services and worker welfare. This was the second edition of the High Commission's Pongal event and part of broader festival activities in Singapore.
