Thirteen children in Assam's Jorhat district fell ill after consuming soapberries while playing at a tea estate. The incident occurred Saturday evening, with parents seeking medical attention later that night. The children were transferred to Jorhat Medical College and Hospital on Sunday. Doctors report all 13 are under observation, with three in critical condition in the ICU and the remaining ten out of danger.
