Kannada writer and publisher Asha Raghu, 46, was found dead at her Malleswaram residence in Bengaluru on Saturday. Police have registered a case of unnatural death and are investigating. Family members discovered her body after breaking open her room door when she did not respond. Raghu, a novelist and dialogue writer, had lost her husband two years ago and was reportedly suffering from depression. She is survived by her daughter. The Kannada Writers and Publishers' Association mourned her passing.
