Sightings have been reported in several villages, with increased activity noted between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. The public is advised against provoking the animals, venturing alone into forest areas, or using mobile flash for photos. The department has deployed a Rapid Response Team for surveillance and to facilitate the elephants' safe return to the forest, urging immediate reporting of sightings.
