India's Ministry of Culture has launched the Har Ghar Museum initiative, aiming to document and preserve heritage artefacts held within homes across the country. The program, managed by the National Council of Science Museums, is building an online repository of submitted photographs and documents of authenticity. So far, hundreds of submissions have been scanned, with social media content posted for 18 artefacts and personal collections, including rare stamps, coins, and over 100-year-old pencils from collectors like Souvik Roy.
