The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has relocated ten aggressive dogs from Najafgarh to a shelter in South West Delhi, following Supreme Court orders and citizen complaints about attacks in hospitals and residential areas. These dogs will remain at the shelter permanently or until their behavior improves. The MCD plans to build permanent shelters for stray dogs, with one in Dwarka expected to house 1500 dogs. Dog catching teams face opposition from activists during operations.
