International Cricket Council chairman Jay Shah announced India's ambition to host the 2036 Olympic Games in Gujarat, following the planned Commonwealth Games in 2030. Shah also set a target of winning 100 medals at the Olympics. He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his role in securing the Commonwealth Games for Gujarat.
