
The Toronto Blue Jays have reportedly agreed to a four-year, $60 million contract with infielder Kazuma Okamoto. The deal includes a $5 million signing bonus and salaries totaling $55 million over four seasons. Okamoto, a six-time All-Star from Japan, has a career .277 average with 248 home runs. He previously played for the Yomiuri Giants and was a key player for Japan in the 2023 World Baseball Classic. The agreement must be finalized by Sunday evening under the MLB-NPB posting agreement.
