The 41-year-old achieved this milestone during a SA20 match for Joburg Super Kings against MI Cape Town, scoring 44 runs off 21 balls. Du Plessis is the 10th player globally to reach this T20 run tally, having played in numerous leagues worldwide throughout his career.
