
India's top archers, including B. Dhiraj, Atanu Das, Deepika Kumari, and V. Jyothi Surekha, will compete in the year's first selection trials starting Monday at the SAI campus. The trials are open to the top 32 finishers from the recent National championships and those who have met minimum qualification scores. Archers will be selected for the World Cup stages in Mexico and China, with a core group advancing to final trials in April/May for the World Cup stages in Turkey and Spain, and the Asian Games. Coach Purnima Mahato anticipates a competitive event with rising talents.
