Indian chess Grandmaster R. Praggnanandhaa has acknowledged a recent dip in his playing form, stating his level is not what it used to be. After a strong start to 2025 with several major titles, his performance declined in later tournaments, including the Grand Chess Tour finals and World Rapid and Blitz Championship. Praggnanandhaa attributes this slump partly to a demanding tournament schedule with insufficient time for reflection and improvement, but remains focused on upcoming events like the Candidates tournament.
