
Dave Giusti, a key relief pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates during their 1971 World Series championship season, has died at the age of 86. Giusti had a 15-year MLB career, including significant success with the Pirates where he recorded 133 saves, ranking third in franchise history. He also made one All-Star appearance in 1973. His family confirmed his passing on Sunday.
