Adithya Ashok, a 23-year-old leg-spinner of Indian origin, has been named in New Zealand's squad for their ODI series against India. Born in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, Ashok moved to New Zealand at age four. He has represented New Zealand at the U-19 level and made his senior debut in 2023. Ashok has also trained at the Chennai Super Kings academy. He is set to face prominent Indian batsmen like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma in his third ODI appearance.
