The Arizona Diamondbacks have acquired eight-time All-Star third baseman Nolan Arenado from the St. Louis Cardinals. Arenado, a 10-time Gold Glove winner, brings veteran presence to the Diamondbacks after they traded Eugenio Suárez. The Cardinals are receiving pitching prospect Matthew Liberatore and cash considerations to offset Arenado's remaining contract. Arenado waived a no-trade clause to facilitate the deal, expressing gratitude for his time with the Cardinals.
