The second edition of the revived men's Hockey India League (HIL) is set to begin on January 3rd in Chennai, with matches also scheduled in Ranchi and Bhubaneswar, concluding on January 26th, 2026. Eight teams will compete, including the revamped SG Pipers, led by Director of Hockey PR Sreejesh and Captain Jarmanpreet Singh. The team features international talent like drag-flick specialist Varun Kumar and forward Tomás Domene, alongside emerging Indian players such as Dilraj Singh.
