Cadillac's new Formula 1 team has signed Zhou Guanyu, the sole Chinese driver in F1 history, as its reserve driver for its inaugural 2026 season. Zhou brings recent experience from his reserve role with Ferrari and previously raced with Sauber. He will support the main driver pairing of Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Pérez. The team highlighted Zhou's fit for car development and his commercial appeal in China. Additionally, Cadillac is supporting U.S. driver Colton Herta in Formula 2.
