This denial comes amid a dispute where the BCCI instructed KKR to release Mustafizur, leading to BCB refusing to travel to India for the T20 World Cup and requesting a venue shift. Bangladesh has also banned IPL broadcasts domestically. The BCB president stated there have been no discussions with the BCCI regarding Mustafizur's return.
