The Baltimore Orioles have claimed outfielder Marco Luciano, a former top prospect, off waivers from the Pittsburgh Pirates. Luciano, 24, previously played for the San Francisco Giants, where he was converted from an infielder to an outfielder. In other roster moves, the Orioles sent pitcher Josh Walker outright to Triple-A Norfolk and designated outfielder Jhonkensy Noel for assignment.
