
Former Mizoram Ranji Trophy cricketer K. Lalremruata, 38, died on Thursday after collapsing during a local match. He suffered a stroke while playing for Venghnuai Raiders Cricket Club in a second division screening tournament. Lalremruata represented Mizoram in the Ranji Trophy twice and the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy seven times. The Cricket Association of Mizoram expressed condolences and announced the cancellation of all scheduled matches as a mark of respect.
