Western Railway received multiple Railway Week Shields and individual honours at the 70th Railway Week Central Function in New Delhi. The awards, presented by Union Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnav, recognized excellence across operational, technical, and safety domains. Western Railway was the highest shield winner among Zonal Railways, securing shields in Comprehensive Health Care, Non-Fare Revenue, Track Maintenance, and Electrical Engineering, and jointly winning Civil Engineering awards.
