The games, running from January 6-11, include Judo, Taekwondo, and Gatka competitions. Minister Bains announced plans to build 3,100 playgrounds statewide to foster grassroots sports and highlighted a new sports policy offering advance financial assistance for international athletes. Arrangements for participant comfort and security were emphasized.
