Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated the 72nd Senior National Volleyball Championship in Varanasi, his parliamentary constituency. Modi expressed confidence in Varanasi's enthusiastic people to make the event a success and noted the development of modern sports infrastructure in the city. Over 1,000 players from 58 teams across 28 states are participating in the week-long championship.
