The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is considering an earlier sale of the Multan Sultans franchise, potentially before the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) season. This shift follows the unexpectedly high prices achieved for two new PSL teams, Hyderabad and Sialkot, at a recent auction. PCB officials believe this favorable market condition could secure a better price for the established Multan Sultans. While PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi initially preferred to manage the team before selling, PSL CEO Salman Naseer is advocating for an expedited sale.
