Ayush Badoni has been named as a replacement for the injured Washington Sundar in India's ODI squad against New Zealand. Sundar sustained a rib injury during the first ODI. Badoni, a 26-year-old Delhi batter and former Ranji Trophy captain, has been selected despite a mixed List-A record. He has shown promise in recent India A matches and is reportedly backed by Gautam Gambhir.
