Pune will host its first multi-stage cycle race, the Bajaj Pune Grand Tour 2026, from January 19. The five-day, 437-km event will feature 171 elite cyclists from 35 countries. Organizers aim to blend the endurance sport with historical and cultural heritage, highlighting sites like Sinhgad Fort and landmarks such as Shaniwarwada during race commentary to boost tourism and showcase the region's legacy.
