The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has appointed Toby Radford as the national team's batting coach and Robert Ahmun as the new strength and conditioning trainer. Both have been hired on one-year contracts ahead of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026. Radford, an ECB Level 4 certified coach, previously coached the Pakistan Cricket Board and Bangladesh Cricket Board, and is currently head coach of Dhaka Capitals. Ahmun, an elite specialist, most recently served the England and Wales Cricket Board in performance science and medicine.
