Heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua has returned to Britain following a fatal car crash in Nigeria that killed two friends, Sina Ghami and Latif Ayodele. The vehicle they were traveling in struck a stationary truck. Joshua sustained minor injuries and was released from the hospital. The driver, Adeniyi Mobolaji Kayode, has been charged with dangerous and reckless driving, with his court case adjourned to January 20. Joshua, who has Nigerian nationality, was reportedly in Nigeria for family reasons.
