Pakistan has submitted a preliminary 20-player squad for the T20 World Cup to the ICC, with former captain Babar Azam and pace bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi included. Notably, wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan has been left out, reportedly due to the selection of Usman Khan as the preferred keeper. Shaheen Afridi is expected to recover from a knee injury.
