A 17-member Indian contingent, led by shot-putter Tajinderpal Singh Toor, will compete in the 12th Asian Indoor Athletics Championships in Tianjin, China, from February 6-8. Toor, a two-time Asian Indoor champion, will be joined by other prominent athletes including decathlete Tejaswin Shankar and long jumper Shahnawaz Khan. The team departs on February 3.
