
A 17-member Indian contingent, led by shot-putter Tajinderpal Singh Toor, will compete in the 12th Asian Indoor Athletics Championships in Tianjin, China, from February 6-8. Toor, a two-time Asian Indoor champion, will be joined by other prominent athletes including decathlete Tejaswin Shankar and long jumper Shahnawaz Khan. The team departs on February 3. India aims to build on its four-medal performance from the previous edition, though key athletes like Jyothi Yarraji are absent due to injury.
