
Former India batting coach Vikram Rathour has been appointed as the batting coach for the Sri Lanka national team, focusing on their preparation for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026. Rathour, who previously served India from 2019 to 2024, will join Sri Lanka Cricket on a consultancy basis from January 18 to March 10. He becomes the second Indian coach in Sri Lanka's support staff, following R. Sridhar, the fielding coach appointed until the T20 World Cup.
