Google Maps has unveiled a redesigned app menu for both Android and iOS, aiming for a smoother and more intuitive user experience. The update features a cleaner layout with seven high-level menus, including sections for app display, navigation, vehicle information, location privacy, offline maps, and notifications. Users can access the new interface by opening the app and tapping the Layers icon to view options, including a real-time traffic layer indicated by color-coded congestion levels.
