The AGCM is investigating Meta for suspected abuse of market power after rivals complained. The European Commission is also probing Meta's actions. This exclusion, effective January 15, allows Italian phone numbers to remain exempt from updated terms of service, preventing Meta's own AI from gaining an advantage over competitors.
