India's first Bioengineering Centre for Lung Health has been launched at IIT Hyderabad, a joint initiative with Germany's ILH. The center aims to foster interdisciplinary research, talent development, and innovation in lung health through Indo-German collaboration. It will focus on developing non-invasive diagnostics, advanced therapies, and personalized treatment approaches to address current technological limitations in assessing pulmonary and cardiac function.
