IIT Indore has developed an AI-driven technology, 'Cellular Vehicle-to-Everything' (C-V2X), to enhance road safety and traffic management. The system uses AI and high-speed networks like 5G to send real-time alerts to vehicles about road conditions, accidents, and congestion. Researchers focused on efficiently allocating communication resources between vehicles and cellular users to ensure reliable, low-latency safety messages, aiming to prevent accidents and ease traffic flow.
