
Web traffic to OpenAI's ChatGPT has seen a decline in recent months, while Google's Gemini has experienced growth, according to analytics firm SimilarWeb. ChatGPT's worldwide traffic decreased by 9.6% from October to January, with daily visits falling significantly over six weeks. Concurrently, Gemini's global traffic share increased by 3.3% in December, narrowing the gap between the two AI platforms. Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff noted a switch to Gemini 3, citing its advanced capabilities.
