Toyota has teased its upcoming Urban Cruiser EV, set to be its first all-electric SUV for the Indian market, with a launch anticipated in January. This new model is a re-badged version of the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, sharing its platform, design, and powertrain options. The Urban Cruiser EV is expected to feature distinct front-end styling from its Maruti counterpart, while retaining a similar interior layout and feature set, including advanced infotainment and driver-assistance systems. It will likely offer battery options of 49 kWh and 61 kWh, providing ranges up to 543 km.
