Both nations cited inadequate safeguards on the platform X, where Grok is integrated. This action marks the first government-imposed ban on the AI tool, following global criticism and regulatory engagement. Malaysia stated access would resume only after effective safeguards are verified, while Indonesia also sought clarification from the platform.
