Kauvery Hospital in Chennai has launched advanced 3D heart mapping technology, including the CARTO 3 system, to treat complex heart rhythm disorders like atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia. This technology creates detailed 3D models of the heart's electrical activity, enabling more precise diagnosis and safer treatment of arrhythmias. Hospital officials stated this marks the first time such globally established technologies are available in Tamil Nadu, enhancing cardiac care in the region. The launch was attended by actor-politician R. Sarathkumar and hospital executives.
