Time magazine has named "the architects" of artificial intelligence as its Person of the Year for 2025, recognizing the individuals who designed and built AI. This marks the third time in 50 years Time has highlighted a technological revolution, following the "Personal Computer" and "You" (digital communities). The selection acknowledges the profound societal impact of AI and its developers, including leaders from Nvidia, xAI, Anthropic, AMD, Meta, DeepMind, and OpenAI, alongside AI pioneer Fei-Fei Li.
